This May 2nd, Tivoli was gripped by queues that have not yet been resolved one hundred percent, due to some road works in a stretch at the entrance and exit of the city, which as you can see from the cover photo of this article, it is creating a kilometric “snake”, which puts rescue efforts at risk.

Vehicle transit results effectively blocked in via Tiburtina Valeria, in the same “funnel” section in which they were formed almost similar queues just a year ago, for other road works along the same lines as these.
The inconveniences, as confirmed by the local police of Tivoli, began around 7.45 am today, and for all the means of transport traveling along this stretch of Tiburtina, the day effectively turned into an immense infernal queue.
Furthermore, in cases like these, if there were an illness or an ambulance had to pass by to help or take the injured or sick to hospital, the blocked road could lead to the indirect consequence of the loss of human lives.
The local police of Tivoli confirmed to canaledieci.it that the queues are being disposed of and all this chaos is due to moving road works from the night time to the morning today, due to technical problems that occurred.
Fortunately, explains the local police, these works were completed this morning, and therefore there will no longer be traffic jams of this magnitude due to road maintenance interventions.

Flavia herself reports how these problems also cost economically to commuters and drivers who have had to deal with closures and diversions for work: “To avoid these jobs and go to work at Villa Claudia I had to bear very high costs and it’s not a good thing to have insult added to injury.”
Still on the subject of road works, starting today and for approximately 3 weeks work began on a stretch of approximately 20 kilometers of Via Aurelia which will lead to closures and diversions.
