Giacomo Modicacoach of Messinaspoke about the fans who contested president Sciotto:

“I think they did this to spur ownership. The fans want to make the president understand that, if he wants to continue leading the club, he will have to get help from someone to try to obtain better results. I don’t think it was an invitation to give up immediately, but I repeat, a stimulus resulting from too much love for these colours”.
