“THE BEST YOUTH” LIVE ON RAI 2: THE STUDENTS OF THE ROITI HIGH SCHOOL OF FERRARA REPORTED IN MILO INFANTE’S BROADCAST AS A POSITIVE EXAMPLE. THEY HAVE ARRANGETED AND COLORED THE ATRIUM OF THE BRANCH WITH MURALS AND PAINTINGS
Ferrara, 24 April – “The best of youth” starts from Ferrara and arrives in the homes of Italians. In fact, the ‘Roiti’ scientific high school in Ferrara appeared this afternoon on the “14 Hours” program hosted by Milo Infante on Rai 2, after having also written to the mayor of Ferrara.
“These kids are the best of youth, who fill our lives with beautiful things”, is Milo Infante’s comment addressed to the Roiti students during the Rai program.
The high school students, coordinated by the art teacher Federica Baroni, renovated, colored and painted the Roiti branch in via Azzo Novello with images of women. Atrium B of the high school, inaugurated today, is now colored with portraits – in the central column – of four women who the young people of Ferrara have chosen as an example of courage and inspiration: Samantha Cristoforetti, Rita Levi Montalcini; Liliana Segre and Franca Viola. On the main walls there is a portrait of Leonardo Da Vinci and one of Frida Kahlo.
“After seeing the devastation of the Liceo Fioravanti in Bologna, where a mobilization of students resulted in vandalism and destruction, I believe that what was done today at Roiti is a fine example of civility. The scruffy, old and sad atrium of the school was completely restored with their enthusiasm and stubbornness”, explained Professor Baroni.
Added to this is the applause of the mayor of Ferrara for the beautiful project carried out by the teachers and students of the Ferrara high school.
