Last April 23, in the Municipality of Minturno, in the evening, a patrol from the Radiomobile Section of the Formia Company provided assistance to a lorry driver who, disoriented and in shock, had requested the intervention of the police.
The man said his truck was kidnapped and robbed around midday, while he was in the municipality of Aprilia. Three misrepresented criminals, after having boarded the vehicle, forcefully immobilized him and then released him, after six hours, at around 6pm near the Garigliano bridge.
The tractor unit of the articulated lorry was found by the Carabinieri of the local station at 8pm in the province of Caserta, near the Municipality of Cancello and Arnone.
Subsequently, at half past midnight last night, the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of the Mondragone Company also found the trailer of the truck with its container containing the material it was transporting, entirely recovered, consisting of 760 packages of calcium carbon worth approximately 28,000 euros.
