Anelli’s Under 16 team closed the championship with a 5-1 victory against Pescara, even if it was useless for the purposes of the standings given that the red and whites did not manage to qualify for the playoffs. Five victories in the last six races were not enough. Protagonist of the day Merico who creates a quadruplet. Personal joy also for Vanni who scores the temporary 2-0. In the standings, Perugia closes the championship with 41 points.

CERIGNOLA – Painless defeat for Raschi’s boys against Cerignola given that they are already mathematically qualified for the playoffs. Cerignola starts off strong but in the 25th minute it is Kroni who comes close to scoring, a great save from the opposing goalkeeper. In the second half the locals took the lead with Tristano and in the 30th minute Bitetto doubled the advantage. In the final Meyou narrows the gap with a penalty kick. In the standings, the red and whites are currently third at 55 points, one less than Pescara in second place and three points ahead of Monterosi, fourth. Next Sunday, however, Perugia will have a break.
