On Friday 10 May, at 6.00 pm, at La Feltrinelli Libri e Musica (Via S. Caterina, 23, Naples), there will be the presentation of Sergio Locoratolo’s volume entitled “One day after another (2018-2023). Naples and the South between populism, neo-reformism and right-wing government” (Guida Editori, 2023). Speakers with the author will be Gaetano Manfredi; Francesco De Core, Director of Il Mattino; Ottavio Ragone, Head of La Repubblica Napoli.
From the preface by Ottavio Ragone: “The meeting with Sergio Locoratolo was written in things and is marked by the many articles published in «Repubblica Napoli», which you can find collected in this book. A few exchanges of ideas were enough to build a strong human and political relationship with Sergio. To then recognise, through comparisons and long discussions, a common culture, which refers to the liberal socialism of Piero Gobetti, the anti-fascism of the Rosselli brothers and, before that, the lesson of Gaetano Salvemini and John Stuart Mill”.
