Unicoop Tirreno wants to strengthen the points of sale, and is looking for 700 workers to employ as cashiers, counter clerks, sales staff and other profiles. They are intended for the one hundred supermarkets distributed between Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany. The recruitment initiative was undertaken in view of the summer season.

The selections will take place with the collaboration of employment agencies, from Adecco to Manpowergroup to Openjobmetis: those selected will mostly have employment contracts
six-month period, with a part-time profile. The hours will not be less than 24 per week.

Since these are supply contracts, the protections and characteristics will be the same as those of the Cooperative’s employees, including the provisions of the supplementary company contract, such as, for example, Sunday and holiday increases. There are no age restrictions for the selections or even experience, in fact the support of expert staff is foreseen for the initial training. The cooperative has around 3 thousand employees, 95% of whom have permanent contracts. Since last January, 90 workers have been hired, 75% of them women.
