It will be staged on Saturday 27 April at 9.00 pmJust enough”, theatrical show by Alessandro Piva with Paolo Sassanelli And Lucia Zotti.
After directing cult films such as “La capa gira”, “Pasta nera” and “Santa Subito”, Alessandro Piva tries his hand at directing a theater show that tells the story of a day like any other for an elderly married couple from the small bourgeoisie of the city. The wife is preparing to cook a pan of parmigiana, the husband returns home with an old radio found near the bins. She deals bitterly with regrets, while he, more calm, lives in his own little world. They know each other by heart and constantly chide each other over any triviality. It is the fear of losing themselves that keeps them together and that, in times of danger, brings out that love that has become felt over the years, like a habit. Everything takes place in the kitchen of the apartment they have always shared, and the scenographic layout invites us to spy on them, as if they were our neighbors whose lives we can observe through the windows. Their stories thus belong to everyone’s daily life, lived within the family. In an intense one-act play, Piva alternates comic and surreal tones with moments of melancholic poetry in a portrait of two human beings with which the spectator cannot help but identify.

Before the show, at 7.00 pmin the room of the Sisters of San Francesco da Paola, adjacent to the theatre, Alessandro Piva, Paolo Sassanelli and Lucia Zotti will be the protagonists of “Artists of the season”, the series of meetings and conversations between artists and citizens. With the artistic direction of Cosimo Severothe artists will dialogue with the co-director and playwright of the Apocrypha Stefania Marrone.
