TRENT. THE fire fighters they succeeded to stop the fire which broke out in the early hours of this morning in an outpatient clinic (endoscopy)to the second floor of the Santa Chiara hospital in Trento.
According to the information that is coming from the Province, fortunately there were no injured people. No patients were in the areas affected by the fire when the flames broke out.
A large column of smoke could be seen at a different distance and flames were coming out of a window.
The call to The single emergency call center was called at 6am and the firefighters – intervened in force with 17 permanent staff and the volunteers of Pergine Valsugana with additional ladder trucks and platforms – they put out the fire in a short time.
Health company personnel were also activated on site. The operations were coordinated by the Civil Protection, Forestry and Wildlife Department with the Fire Prevention and Civil Protection Service.
“The cleanup operations were immediately activated and are underway: there are no repercussions on healthcare activities” explains Pat. During the emergency, the volunteer firefighters of Povo and Gardolo covered any further rescue calls.
