Residents of Viale Dante had also repeatedly reported a series of alarming situations, including clients who were drug users and drug dealing, defining it as “a sort of base for city dealing”.
As, the police, after the control activities and having also noticed the repeated presence inside the bar with precedents, informed the police commissioner Antonio Sbordone of the situation. Hence the decree suspending the authorization for 30 days, notified directly to the owner of the premises.
An activity already known in the city for problems of this type. Suffice it to say that in January last year another suspension came for a month. The reason, at the time, was that of “too many public order problems” following an attack by a man on a woman, with the victim receiving a 20-day prognosis for the blows he suffered. But already in 2023 the Coco Bar was a repeat offender: in fact another provision arrived in 2020 with a seven-day closure notification.
With thisor episode, the number of bars closed by the police commissioner rises to two, both for 30 days, in less than a week.
