She reported being drugged and raped by two foreigners after being lured online with the excuse of an aperitif. A horror story told by a twenty-year-old Italian girl to the agents of the Casilino district and which is now being investigated by the investigators: «They gave me an appointment with an excuse, let’s get a drink, then they told me taken to an apartment. They beat me, I cried, it was a nightmare”, her words.

THE FACT
The crime allegedly happened on April 17th but came to light the following day, when the victim’s boyfriend, worried because she wasn’t answering the phone, located her with the mobile phone app in front of a bar in via di Torrenova, in Torre Angela area. The twenty-year-old, originally from a small village in the hinterland of Rome, born to Romanian parents, was shocked. The face marked by tears, on the arms and legs the bruises, visible, from the scratches and beatings suffered. A shock.
IN HOSPITAL
Accompanied to the emergency room of the Tor Vergata polyclinic, the doctors treated her and gave her a prognosis of forty days. The police investigations into the matter are only just beginning. This morning the investigators will meet with the medical examiner for a briefing under the supervision of the anti-violence pool of the Prosecutor’s Office. The report describes, in fact, the signs due to the beatings but does not explicitly speak of sexual violence suffered.
When her boyfriend reached her in Rome on the morning of the 18th, the girl was in a semi-unconscious condition.
THE APPOINTMENT
However, she had the strength to explain to him that she had been kidnapped and raped by two North African citizens, but immediately afterwards she fainted, only regaining consciousness a few hours later when she was lying on a stretcher in the emergency room.
«I met them on Instagram, they invited me to drink a cocktail», the twenty-year-old says. That she hesitates at first, she doesn’t trust her, but that in the end she lets herself be convinced, attracted by her trap, she who for some time, despite her young age, has been fighting her fight against the demons of alcohol in a detoxification process. For this reason, her boyfriend was particularly worried as he no longer heard from her.
She would have met the two foreigners via social media the day before, hooked up on one of her profiles. The two gave her an appointment on the Casilina. “They made me drink, I think they put some drugs in my glass,” added the girl. Then a new deception: “We’ll give you a lift in the car to the subway stop, so you can get home quicker.” Except that instead, the two of her practically dragged her into an apartment where, after having drugged her, they would rape her in turns. “They kept me blocked, I couldn’t free myself.”
THE RESEARCHES
The investigators are gathering all the useful elements to clarify the contours of the story and to trace the two torturers who have vanished into thin air in the meantime. They will soon acquire the mobile phone and computer devices in the girl’s possession in search of traces left by the two, starting from the social profiles used to contact her and from which they can trace their identity. Not only. The public and private cameras along the consular could actually film the passage of the car with the two men and the girl on board to identify the location of the violence.
