“Our council group, as required by article 55 of the City Council Regulation, presented an urgent question to the Mayor of Arezzo on issues related to security.
The Presidency of the City Council first wasted time, allowing some Councilors to debate for around 20 minutes on a topic unrelated to the questions in question, and then allowed the discussion times for other questions to be exceeded. Finally he had other questions on the topic of security explained to other groups, excluding ours.
If until today we had suspicions, now we are certain: our requests are putting the Council in serious difficulty, to the point that we can almost perceive the fear of wanting to confront our positions.
Now, regardless of this latest incident – so serious that it makes us tell the current Administration that they can ‘run away’ from our questions but not from their responsibilities! -, the traders and residents of via Spinello are waiting for them for a coffee and, at least, a word of comfort, even more so after the recent news events involving the Porcinai gardens.
