Conference on the theme of Ecomafias, a wonderful moment of discussion between students and institutions at the Pitagora Institute in Pozzuoli
Pozzuoli, 23 April 2024 – The auditorium of the Istituto Statale Superiore Pitagora in Pozzuoli was the stage for an event that aroused strong interest among students and participants. The conference “Ecomafias are a silent evil”, strongly supported by the Principal Prof. Antonio Vitagliano and the Vice Principal Prof. Antonio Minieri, brought together a host of illustrious speakers, including the Vice President Sergio Costa, the former Anti-Mafia Prosecutor the Hon. Federico Cafiero de Raho, the Hon. Antonio Caso, the Hon. Carmela Auriemma, the former undersecretary Salvatore Micillo.
The main objective of the event was to raise students’ awareness of the importance of citizenship education. Young people must be not only informed, but also active and responsible citizens, ready to take on the role of agents of change in their communities, locally, nationally and internationally.
During the conference, the speakers addressed the topic of Ecomafias with clarity and depth, offering food for thought and stimulating debate among the students who asked them numerous questions.
The event ended with a feeling of hope and determination, with the many young people eager to explore the topic further.
