The Cunéaz brothers from Valpelline and the Verney company from Gressan qualify six cows

There were 68 cows present on Sunday at the preliminaries in Gignod to qualify for the regional final of the Batailles de Reines.

Of the twelve places available, four per category, three go to the Verney farm of Gressan and another three to the Cunéaz brothers of Valpelline. The action. agricultural qualifies the queen “Briganda” and “Miracle” in the first category and “Scintilla” in the third category, while the brothers from Valpelline bring “Fontana” in the first category to the final, “Ballerina” in the second and “Nairobi” winner in the third category .

The queen of the second category is “Merilyn”, a cow from the Aosta breeder Davide Grimod who will also bring “Gitane”, qualified in the first category, to the final.

The other qualified: in the second category “Bambola” by Castellan Avoyer from Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses, “Marquisa” by Edy Henriet from Gignod; in third category “Forza” by the Brumin brothers from La Salle and “Eclair” by Claudio Pomat from Etroubles.
