By bike towards the places of memory. This is how Liberation is celebrated

Tomorrow morning the city of Cesenatico will celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Liberation from the Nazi-Fascist regime. The celebration will take place by bicycle, the means most used by partisan relays and partisans of the time; and by bicycle the places of memory of Cesenatico will be reached. The first appointment is at 9 in the morning at the city cemetery in via Mazzini, for the laying of a commemorative wreath and at 9.30 the ride is scheduled to start up to Ponte Ruffio, where a wreath will also be laid here, and then return to Cesenatico through the Pisciatello cycle path, until reaching the Levante Park, where the Liberation Day will be held, an event organized in collaboration with the Antifascist and Democratic Network of Cesenatico.

The Liberation Day is a fixed event, with which the farmhouse of the Parco di Levante opens together with the Vivere il Parco association of the Cesenatico Insieme social centre.

The party will continue the following day, Friday 26 April, at 8.45pm, at the Maritime Museum, with ‘Hands on the Constitution’, an event open to the public, where the speakers of the evening will be Marco Valbruzzi, constitutionalist and professor of political science at Federico II University of Naples; Vincenzo Andreucci, former magistrate and president of the Cesena Committee for the Constitution. Mino Savadori will coordinate this event, organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the Cesenatico section of the Anpi and the CGIL of Forlì-Cesena.
