ABRUZZO – Meteorologist Stefano Bernardi had predicted the harsh cold we are experiencing, when it was unlikely given the summer temperatures we were experiencing for a long time.
Now comes the counter prediction, the winter break with its load of snow and late frost is about to give spring back its true role of ideal temperatures and, hopefully, desirable and beneficial rains.
Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we will still have to deal with the aftermath of a cold chapter outside the statistics, even at low altitudes for the period.
However from April 25th onwards, thanks to that trigger fruit of the clash between a depression off the coast of Labrador and the cold-oriental regression – as Bernardi explains – the season of rebirth will once again make those who find themselves among cold lovers and heat lovers smile.
Lastly, the contribution of meteorology, also offered by Bernardi, has allowed those who live off the land to take action and save this year’s harvest between burning hay bales and other anti-freeze practices.
