The Messina VinylFest returns, the event that celebrates music and the sea – Sunday 26 May at Sunset in Mortelle from 10.00 to 20.00

The initiative, which reaches the milestone of five editions, this year includes a larger set-up, displays of vinyl records and creative craftsmanship and DJ sets

The Messina Vinyl Fest returns, the most anticipated event dedicated to the world of recording of the year, scheduled at Sunset in Mortelle on Sunday 26 May from 10.00 to 20.00.

The initiative, which reaches the finish line of five editions, is conceived by Francesco Bonaccorso and is promoted by the newly formed Vinyl Fest Cultural Association.

Among the novelties of this year there is certainly a larger layout than in previous editions, with the provision of two spaces: the record market will be hosted in the suggestive Sunset terrace and there will be room for 12 exhibitors; on the lower floor there will be a market exhibition of creative and vintage craftsmanship curated by Opuntia Sicily Concept Store by Lucia Vento and an exhibition of art ceramics curated by Freaklab.

It will be possible to have lunch at Sunset, enjoy the beach and a children’s play area will also be set up.

DJ Sets are scheduled throughout the day – played strictly on vinyl – with guests from all over Italy and with the partnership of 180gr.tv

There is also space for charity, with the presence of non-profit associations that work in favor of the territory: Puli – Amo Messina which, during the day, will promote a “waste hunt”, Addio Pizzo and Ecosfera diving.

Entrance to the VinylFest is free, with the possibility of making an optional contribution to the “Vinyl Fest” Cultural Association (starting from €2) or purchasing a canvas bag with an illustration by the artistNessunettuno.
