Two forty-year-olds find themselves having to live together to cope with their respective precarious situations and are overwhelmed by the quarantine of March 2020. Mario is fresh from divorce and dismissal, both at the hands of his ex-wife-office manager; the defeat roots him even more in his belief that success is the only yardstick for evaluating a man, so he throws himself into a new project, with the determination of the desperate.
Gianluca is a bachelor who has avoided any responsibility all his life and finds himself, thanks to his confrontation with Mario, making important decisions and changing his perspective.
A forced coexistence, a fusion between two worlds located in two “galaxies far away”. The two friends/enemies will find in each other the right stimulus for change. In the end every disaster will have its own solution and every piece will find its place. However, will the finished mosaic be what the two protagonists expect?
The show is a brilliant comedy, with only two actors, Andrea Visibelli and Lorenzo Bonaccorsiwho hold the stage for almost an hour and a half, telling the story of an Italian quarantine.
La Covida Loca it is a way to exorcise the pain and the terrible wound that Covid has left in our lives, through laughter, but also the deep empathy that is established between the characters, two very different people, yet ready to collaborate to overcome a moment of crisis.
The actors, both from Lucca, bring the show written by Andrea Visibelli himself on stage for the last time in Tuscany before starting the tour in the main cities of northern Italy.
