Following the agreement stipulated in recent days in Rome between the Christian Democracy which refers to Totò Cuffaro and the Christian Democracy which refers to Angelo Sandri initiatives are increasing – even of a local nature – which proceed in this useful and fruitful direction in order to be able to materialize that process of reunification desired by many in Italy.

The two national Secretaries of the Christian Democracy Totò Cuffaro And Angelo Sandri they have in fact committed themselves to implementing every appropriate political and organizational initiative that can favor the achievement of the desired reunification of the Italian Christian Democrats.

And precisely in this sense in Naro (in the province of Agrigento), the national organizational vice-secretary of the Christian Democracy Dr. Gino Monaco wanted to meet the female coordinator of the Christian Democracy for the Licata college Dr Gera Destro.

Both to begin a path aimed at the concrete reunification of the two Christian Democratic components but also to be able to develop a fruitful collaboration not only at a national but also territorial level.

This will make it possible to achieve the objectives agreed in Rome and also to renew a historic friendship between the aforementioned leaders of the Christian Democrats.

The National Organizing Deputy Secretary of the DC Dr. Gino Monaco in the past he was an administrator in Naro (AG).

She was also a candidate in the last political elections to the Chamber of Deputies in the constituency of Caltanissetta, Agrigento and Trapani.

The fruitful meeting therefore served to strengthen the social and territorial commitment that the two leaders of the Christian Democrats have long undertaken, above all in favor of their Agrigento area.

We also wanted to contribute to giving a positive and encouraging signal, given that it is believed that the agreement signed at national level is the right way to bring Christian Democracy back into vogue, making its political action more effective and incisive and being able to give citizens those answers that have been awaited for a long time and that the current political/governmental situation is not able to ensure.
