Promoting a safe working culture: this was the theme at the center of the conference “Safety Objective”, which took place on Monday 22 April at the Meeting Center of the Province of Cuneo and organized by Cuneo Building Schoolin view of World Day for Safety and Health at Work of April 28th.

An event ‘built’ to encourage dialogue between all local actors on the subject of safety, underlining the importance of effective prevention and compliance with the relevant regulations. Also of great importance is the creation of a corporate culture that spreads awareness among people of the importance of maintaining correct behavior, the first rule for making the workplace even safer.

At the prestigious headquarters in Corso Dante, beyond 350 participants they packed the “Einaudi” room and the “Falco” room. Present were the fifth classes of the Higher Education Institutes “Einaudi” of Alba, “Guala” of Bra, “Baruffi” of Ceva and Mondovì, “Virginio” of Cuneo, “Denina” of Saluzzo and “Arimondi-Eula” of Savigliano. A total of approx 280 students representing the 23 classes involved in the competitions “Planning for Safety” (10 classes) e “Safety Objective” (13 classes). In the second, promoted by Formedil with the aim of highlighting the multiple risks present in the construction world, the students presented a photographic shot relevant to the construction sector, capturing the photogenic nature of real situations and documenting the charm of life on construction sites or particularly relevant situations .

The Cuneo Construction School, which includes both training activities through courses for businesses and initiatives aimed at schools, stands out, on a territorial basis and beyond, for the number and types of courses provided. In the last year they have been 266 routes dedicated to safety and qualification, professional requalification for a total of approximately 8000 hours of training and about 2600 students trained.

«The construction sector, also thanks to the opportunities linked to the PNRR, offers numerous opportunities and job opportunities aimed at technicians and construction site personnel. There is a high demand for professional figures in this field, but specific training that is adequate to the needs is necessary. The Construction School, through the combination of training and safety, represents in this sense the reference capable of satisfying professional training needs, offering learning opportunities aimed at job placement and modeling the workers of the future” he has declared Elena Loverapresident of the Cuneo Construction School and of Formedil, the only safety training body, further adding «we work by spreading the culture of safety as a weapon of prevention, also thanks to the involvement of all the players in the supply chain; In fact, prevention also means teaching new generations to think about safety planning on construction sites right from the design phase”.
