Trento, next week’s events in the municipal libraries of the capital – Culture and Entertainment

TRENT. The Library branches will be closed on Thursday 25 April for Liberation Day but the week is still full of events for adults and children.

Readings aloud. The appointments for children continue with readings aloud in the libraries: it’s story time, Wednesday 24th in Mattarello at 4.30pm with Story Wednesday and in Clarina at 5pm with Braveman’s favorite books,

Digital counter. This week only today, Tuesday 23rd from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm the counter in the municipal library is open to support citizens with the Municipality’s online services, Spid requests, digital library services (Mlol and Primo Catalogue) , but also to advise on how to best use the smartphone and its applications.

The desk in Via Roma is open on the first and third Monday of the month from 2pm to 4pm and every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm. Other desks are active from Monday to Friday, in the Welfare and Cohesion service offices social, in some constituencies and at the Urp.

Reading groups. The monthly meetings of the two reading groups will take place on Wednesday 24th in the morning in the study room on the first floor of the Library. From 9 to 10 the first group Il Tavolo degli Intrecci will meet and read I Baffi by Emanuele Carrère. From 10.10 to 11.10 the second group The Library of Babel will meet to talk about Wild Horses by Cormac McCarthy. For information you can write an email to [email protected].

In Gardolo – Without batteries. Like every Wednesday afternoon at the Gardolo library we can have fun playing old games without batteries: the next appointment is Wednesday 24th from 2.30pm to 6.30pm. The initiative is repeated every Wednesday afternoon. Participation is free. For information write an email to [email protected].

Chess & board games. On Wednesday 24th from 4pm to 7pm in the youth room of the municipal library the usual afternoon of Chess & board games will be held, where you can try your hand at board games and chess. From 4pm to 6pm board games will be made available thanks to the girls in civil service and from 5pm to 7pm you can play chess with the university Chess Unitn association.

English reading group. The meetings of the reading group in English continue, which meets on the last Wednesday of the month from 4.30pm to 5.30pm in the study room on the first floor of the Central Library. The next appointment is Wednesday 24th. To participate in the group, moderated by Professor Luciana Gottardi, an intermediate level knowledge of English is required and you must send an email to [email protected] indicating the email address and number mobile phone on which you wish to be contacted.

Biblio Tour. A guided tour of the spaces, services and history of the municipal library in via Roma will start on Saturday 27th at 10am. The group will have a maximum of 15 people. Headquarters – Board games. On Saturday 27 April from 2.30pm to 6pm the Ludimus association will be present in the headquarters, which organizes role-playing games and complex strategy games, as well as making board games suitable for all ages available.
