The appointment of D’Aniello as president of Unpli for the province of Salerno was celebrated in the council chamber of the Municipality of Olevano, the city which will host the new headquarters of the association on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Proloco in Olevano. The event was attended by illustrious personalities, including the regional councilor and president of the internal areas commission Michele Cammarano and the councilor Andrea Volpe. The UNPLI Board of Directors for the province of Salerno will be made up of prominent figures from the area, including Gerardo Luongo, Quirino Vassalli, Enrico Tortolani, Cosimo Robertazzi, Aldo Oliviero and Mario Marmo, while the Probi Viri will be Adriana Minella, Elena Tommasino and Raffaele Pascale. The auditors, however, have the task of guaranteeing transparency and efficiency in financial management, with Ciro Sabia, Mario Di Polito and Maurizio D’Amico.

D’Aniello, known for his tireless commitment and profound dedication to UNPLI, aims to lead the association with a clear and determined vision. His main objective is to network, collaborating closely with public administrations, local associations and academic institutions. Avoiding clashes and working in synergy with the mayors will be fundamental for the harmonious development of initiatives in the area. “Investing in local resources and enhancing traditions is crucial for the sustainable development of our territories,” says D’Aniello. “It is essential to create synergies between the Pro Loco and public bodies to promote knowledge of the history, traditions and typical products of our territory. Only in this way can we combat the depopulation of our villages and offer concrete opportunities to young people.” The establishment of Infopoints in collaboration with the municipalities, the promotion of research and the dissemination of contents through all available advertising media will be the main strategies to achieve the set objectives. Pietro D’Aniello undertakes to lead Unpli for the province of Salerno with passion and determination, placing the well-being of the community and the valorisation of the cultural and territorial heritage at the center of the association’s action.
