Just last Tuesday it was said that the week that was about to arrive would be the week of truth for Taranto. On the one hand the wait for the appeal ruling regarding the appeal presented by the rossoblù club regarding the penalization affair, on the other the match against Avellino. A real final, a crucial test for the future of the Ionian team in this championship. Well it was a week of two faces, two states of mind and two completely different situations. First of all, the news of the rejection of the appeal which caused despair and anger in the minds of the rossoblù locker room. Perhaps, maybea pinch of resignation. Secondly, the great response of the players on the pitch in the match against Avellino. As if a lion had been wounded in its soul, in its essence. The performance against the Irpinia team was just like the roar of a lion who wanted to demonstrate that his strength, his vigor, his desire to win had not been undermined by the disastrous news of the rejected appeal.
