The Police carried out a precautionary custody order in jail dependent on three young people – an Italian, a Serbian and a Brazilian, all residing in the Bergamo area – for robbery and aggravated injuries against the owner of a tobacconist in the center of Milan. The three are accused of having kicked him in the face and having ripped a Rolex Daytona worth 50 thousand euros from his wrist.
On March 8, the trader was taken to the emergency room of the Polyclinic, where he was diagnosed a cranial-facial trauma and multiple facial fractures, with an initial prognosis of 30 days. The reconstruction of the episode, which occurred in via Paolo da Cannobbio, not far from Piazza Duomo, was the result of a complex investigative activity conducted by the policemen of the Crimes against the Person and Widespread Crime sections of the Flying Squad, through technical activities, the analysis of numerous videos from video surveillance circuits, consultation of police databases and open sources. The investigations had identified some important ddetails in physiognomy and clothing of the perpetrators of the beating, which led to the three people from Bergamo, defined as “travellers” of the robberies.
