On 25 April 2024, 1 May 2024 and every first Sunday of the month, the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the provinces of Caserta and Benevento, in implementation of the Agreement on the use of the Decentralized Resources Fund, opens some of the most beautiful and evocative places under its protection, such as the Roman Villa of San Limato in Cellole and the Appia di Mondragone archaeological park.

A unique opportunity to admire places rich in history in an unprecedented and surprising way, discovering with curiosity and intelligence the suggestion of the narratives hidden within them. The free entry openings, strongly desired by the Abap Superintendent for the provinces of Caserta and Benevento Gennaro Leva and by the archaeologist Domenico Oione, intend to generate a new relationship with the visitor, strengthening that of social development. The assistants for supervision, use and reception of the Mondragone Archaeological Office will preside over the sites from 9am to 1pm, according to the identified calendar.
