Barletta – “#Sbullatevi” awareness campaign on the topic of Bullying and Cyberbullying at the “Modugno-Moro” Comprehensive Institute – PugliaLive – Online information newspaper

The Welfare and other Personal Services Sector announces that the “Educational Tutoring” Service for minors in the Municipality of Barletta, managed by the ATI social cooperatives Shalom – Metropolis, is carrying out the “ Sbullatevi ” awareness campaign, aimed at raising awareness among the population youth regarding the topic of bullying and cyberbullying.

The campaign will be aimed at students attending the “Modugno-Moro” Comprehensive Institute, specifically 3 classes of the 2nd year and 3 classes of the 3rd year of lower secondary school.

The awareness campaign includes 2 meetings:

• 1st Meeting 04 May 2024 from 10.00 to 12.00. The BAT Engineers Association (AIBAT) will speak, represented by the President Eng. Sabino Papa and Eng. Magda Canaletti and the psychologist Dr. Rossella Capitta.

The following topics will be covered during the meeting:

• Presentation of the awareness campaign to the group of participating students;
• Information on issues relating to Internet safety, knowledge and use of artificial intelligence and conscious use of technologies to combat cyberbullying;
• Psychological components of bullying and cyberbullying, emotional consequences and effects on the “bully”, the “bullied” and on spectators.

Furthermore, indications will be provided to the participating students for the creation of n. 1 group video lasting a maximum of 60”, using the hashtag bullisNO , in order to convey your message against bullying and cyberbullying.

• 2nd Meeting 25 May 2024 from 10.00 to 12.00. The psychologist Dr. Rossella Capitta will speak.

The final meeting of the campaign will include the screening and awarding of the most significant video with material goods (1 tablet). Some “practical instructions” will also be indicated for the prevention and resolution of situations concerning the phenomenon of bullying.
