At the Silver LD Regional Championship, Marianna Catti, Viola Polito and Eleonora Ferrero defended the company colors
Last Saturday 20 March in Saint Vincent, the second round of the Silver LD Junior Regional Championship of the FGI (Italian Gymnastics Federation). Three flag-bearing athletes of the Cuneo association ASD Team Cuneo who participated in the competition. For the Junior 1 category, Marianna Catti took to the stage with the ball, who, with a clean and elegant performance, achieved the best score, demonstrating the great improvement of recent months. Some small inaccuracies on the tape did not compromise the third partial position.
Always for the same category, Viola Polito she presented a decisive and gritty ball exercise which, by a few cents, kept her away from the podium in the apparatus rankings. The hoop was slightly more foul, but after this test she still demonstrated that she knows how to improve from match to match and her margins for improvement are very high.
Finally, for the Junior 3 category, he faced the platform Eleonora Ferrero, conducting one of his best races with a decisive and original program. A beautiful rope execution by her allowed her to widely surpass the 11 point barrier, taking her to first partial position. A few smears on her tape did not compromise her score and consequently her second position in the apparatus ranking. The sum of her two scores places her seventh in the standings, a few hundredths away from the podium.
