Rimini, 21 April 2024 – It was with the best intentions that on the night between Friday and Saturday a young man ended up in the middle of the turmoil remedying one violent assault complete with blows in the face from a group of three other boys.
This is what happened at around 3.15 in the morning, when in via Sigismondoin the historic center, two police cars rush in with sirens blaring.
The intervention starts with an initial call to the single emergency number 112to which a boy had reported that he had just been brutally beaten by three individuals while he had tried to help a woman.
Once you reach via Sigismondo, i policemen they immediately tracked down the person seeking help, while he was still on the ground on the side of the road and with obvious signs of a blow on his face. At this point, the victim of the attack turned to the officers again, telling how shortly before intervening in defense of a girl who was in turn being beaten by a man, the latter then took it out on him and, aided by two other accomplices, would have beaten him with kicks and punches, then leaving him on the ground bleeding.
At the end of the violent attack, the small group – regardless of the boy thus injured – would have moved from via Sigismondo, going away to drink and joke with other friends in a nearby bar, as if nothing had just happened.
Having collected the testimony of the beaten young man, the officers soon tracked down and identified the three alleged attackers, therefore reporting them free for the crime of aggravated injuries.
