a reader’s protest

We publish a reader’s protest about the music being too loud in a club on Via Farini.

“I would like to point out that as often happens, the bar in Via Farini (in front of Palazzo Tarasconi) plays music (or lets customers manage the music) which is played at volumes that I would say are not exactly appropriate….

Does it seem sensible that the volume is so high that it can be heard in Piazzale Borri?
More than enough volume to be heard even at home and have the phone capable of saying the title of the song?
Considering that when there are concerts in the square you can’t hear anything….

I don’t mind the fact that there is “movement”, but a minimum of controls and civility would be necessary.
Where have gone the places whose managers asked customers not to make too much noise in the street?

Starting with the merchants who absolutely do not respect civil rules and who transform the street into disco bars.

I close on the notes of Son of a Preacher man by Dusty Springfield….
They are also beautiful songs, but maybe at home you would like a little silence since it’s been 4 hours and now it’s well after midnight.”
