«We are happy to be able to play at the stadium. It’s a joy for the whole city, ours is a team of kids who mostly live in Siena and we too are happy to participate in this show, hoping to offer a good one. We both finished the championship with objectives, tomorrow’s race will be for the pure pleasure of the challenge.” Even on the Mazzola side there is satisfaction for the possibility of taking the field at the “Franchi” and crowning an otherwise positive season. Stefano Argilli, in presenting tomorrow’s match to the club’s official channels, reiterates that he does not want to leave defeated: «Everyone will want to make a good impression, we want to do it in front of the team that won the championship. If anything, we will have to grit our teeth and gather all our strength. Our final was in decline – specifies the Mazzola coach – both in results and in motivation, when the playoff dream vanished. Tomorrow we want to do well, but we have to deal with our strengths; some fought until the end, others are recovering from injuries but everyone will want to make a good impression.” There are many memories that link the Robur flag to the beloved “Rastrello”: «For me too it is a special match, my career is linked to this club in an inextricable way. Not only as a player, but also as a coach and as a manager – underlines Argilli – in years that were the best of my career. I am particularly attached to Siena, I breathe the city and therefore I know the moods of the square. I also want to make a good impression.” (JF)
