Terni, 20 April 2024 – At the “Rigamonti” in Brescia lhe scored an important point in Ternana which continues to keep hope alive in salvation. A good performance was put on by the rossoverdi, for whom the draw, although precious, could be even close considering that the best opportunities to score were the prerogative of the boys from Breda. The woundsIndeed, they hit a crossbar with Dionisi in the 23rd minute of the second half, and after a VAR consultation they saw two goals disallowed, all by Luperini. In both cases it was a matter of a few centimeters.

The first cancellation occurred in the 21st minute of the first half, at the end of a very confusing move in the Brescia area completed by the red and green midfielder on the goal line. In the circumstance, however, the doubt remains of a handball committed, from the ground, by Moncini who had intervened to defend the swallows’ goal. The second, however, occurred in the 33rd minute of the second half due to an offside by Lucchesi in the action in which Dionisi hit the crossbar for the second time and Luperini, as mentioned, slipped into the opponent’s goal. At 30′ of the second half the only real danger created by Brescia. Bisoli tried with a poisonous header in the area, but Vitali promptly deflected it over the crossbar. Ternana thus closes the double Lombard trip to Cremona and Brescia with a haul of four points, and next Saturday they are preparing to welcome Ascoli in a direct clash for salvation that is worth double.
