Car stolen – an old Lancia Y – and found within a few hours, thanks above all to his son-in-law. The incident happened on Saturday in Terni. The car, owned by a 69-year-old who lives in the Tuillo area, disappeared in the early morning and it was the woman’s husband who noticed it, who thought she had left the house. But instead she was inside and the car – reachable only by passing through a private road – disappeared. So she raised the alarm to all her family members and within a short time a social appeal was also posted on Facebook. After a while, a phone call came from a cousin reporting the presence of the vehicle near Ponte d’Oro – Bovio village – and at that point the lady’s son-in-law decided to take a tour of the area in the hope of coming across the vehicle. . Which duly happened shortly afterwards near Rocca San Zenone. The man hoped to be able to stop the car – he later reported that there were two very young people on board – but initially he lost track of them. Then the two boys reappeared not far away and on foot, in Via Tre Venezia. At that point – it was around 12.30 – the police were alerted and stopped them for the necessary checks. And the car was found near Rocca San Zenone, ‘safe and sound’. The rest are investigations into the fact, who was responsible, whether it was a stunt or something else. And the ending for the lady – the vehicle may be dated but very useful for everyday trips – was a happy one.
