Few words, but well targeted. Soccer Altamura can no longer make mistakes, regardless of what the final placement will be after the last match available in the regular season: the derby against Nox Molfetta to be played away, while Chiaravalle will face Montesilvano.
“I don’t expect surprises from that match, but as I have already told my girls – repeats the red and white president Carlo Benedetto – failures are no longer allowed, because important investments have been made in order to achieve the maximum profit between the championship and the Italian Cup. Unfortunately, the latter was not achieved and the strong regret remains: in the drawn matches in the championship against Chiaravalle, especially in the one at their home, there was a dominance on our part, but in the decisive moment we did not have the right maturity. We will certainly learn from our mistakes. Even though a lot has been done, we could have done even more.”
The real flaw of the Apulian squad? Maybe lack of awareness. “They are the strongest in the championship and must become aware of this: we as a club know this well, yet the girls have yet to understand it. Except for a couple of circumstances, I’ve seen them play at a superior level. Which is our goal: to play fun futsal, enjoy a show. Achieve perfection.”
Winning until the end, translated in terms of results. “On our part there was maximum trust and commitment in creating the best possible conditions, satisfying everyone, now it’s up to them to try to repay the commitment of those who still strongly believe in them”.
