Pride Month starts today, Saturday 20 April, in Terni, which will end with the Transfem Terni Pride on 25 May.
“Transfeminism, self-determination and rights of queer families are the key words of Transfem Terni PrideTransfem Terni Pride”, say the members of Esedomani Terni LGBTQIA+ Association, organizer of the event. “The parade, which for the first time will take place in the city of Terni, will be an important moment, after a month of cultural, artistic, sporting, political events, reflection on transfeminism and its reconstructive function of our social fabric”.

“Today we represent a long series of associations“, declares Luca Montali, president of Esedomani Terni lgbtqia+. “We expected a large number of participants, but not 39 associations and 5 political parties in support of pride”.

Life is one and short: let’s help these kids express themselves. I will do everything to support families. Today, after eleven years of activism, I am a mother, a better woman, because I have broken down taboos and prejudices due to a patriarchal upbringing.”
