“Innovation, technologies, intelligence” will be held today in Catania, the third appointment of the “Enterprise tomorrow” series of meetings, which the Democratic Party dedicates to industrial policies. The event will take place at Isola Catania (Piazza Cardinale Pappalardo, 23), the work will begin at 9.30 am and end around 1.30 pm. Many representatives of the Democratic Party will speak during the various scheduled panels: Antonio Misiani, Stefania Bonaldi, Anna Ascani, Peppe Provenzano, Brando Benifei, Anthony Barbagallo, Antonio Nicita, Andrea Orlando, Lorenzo Basso will discuss with representatives of the Information sector Technology and Big Tech.
“A new economy makes use of technologies, innovation and intelligence as an engine of economic, social and cultural growth”, explains Misiani. “For this reason we need a new industrial policy, which is able to spread skills, support research and technological transfer, promote the best technologies available such as artificial intelligence but also and above all to reduce inequalities and give everyone – people and businesses – equal opportunities to use their talents, data and qualities”.
Therefore, the final stage of ‘Enterprise tomorrow’ will be held in Turin on 12 May, with the national Pd conference on industrial policies. Among others, the secretary of the Democratic Party Elly Schlein and the PSE candidate for the presidency of the European Commission Nicolas Schmit will participate.
