TO Cataniaa 14-year-old is under investigation because he is allegedly responsible for “child pornography” behavior towards a peer he already knew following investigations conducted by the Cybernetic Security Operations Center of the Postal Police of Catania and coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office for minors.
The complaint
The victim, accompanied by her parents, reported the incident to the Postal Police. The investigations made it possible to trace the user of the false profile against whom the public prosecutor issued a search warrant. The computer devices in his possession were seized from the minor under investigation, the analysis of which confirmed his responsibilities.
The Prosecutor’s Office for minors of Cataniain recent months, has received from the Postal Police several reports of illicit conduct committed by adolescents and regarding images of child pornography also obtained through artificial intelligence applications.
