More on the match against the Ionian team: ”Taranto could also present themselves with the 3-5-2 considering that Riggio is disqualified and Panico came out of the match against Monopoli battered. The rest of the team is doing well. There is a bit of tiredness but it is normal at this moment of the season considering that we are at the end”
On Riggio’s declarations and the potential of Avellino: ”I start from the principle that we can always improve but this happens when we reach the consolidation of the level achieved to date. We know that we have to give more also from a playoff perspective. I haven’t always been able to get everyone on the attack due to physical problems. We have often struggled to put everyone in the same position. However, there are players with great character. When we had the chance to make them play more, they all demonstrated their qualities. Above all, Sgarbi did very well. The various attacking pairs did well”
On the second place goal and how to deal with it: ”The only plan I have in my head is second place and then we’ll see how to plan the play offs. We will certainly play friendly matches so as not to stand still and lower the tension”
