Healthcare, meeting between the mayor Celentano and the new extraordinary commissioner of the Latina ASL – Luna Notizie – Latina News

LATINA – Yesterday in the Municipality, Mayor Matilde Celentano received Dr. Sabrina Cenciarelli, extraordinary commissioner of the Local Health Authority of Latina. An institutional meeting, with a view to mutual collaboration on the topic of healthcare, at the center of the needs of all citizens. “I wanted to meet Commissioner Cenciarelli who has been at the helm of the Pontine Health Authority for about a month – explained Mayor Celentano – to be updated, as Mayor of the capital, on the state of the art of the territorial and hospital health planning of our province. Programs already illustrated here in Latina by the president of the Lazio Region Francesco Rocca on the occasion of the last Conference of Mayors for healthcare in the province of Latina, chaired by me, which was held on 26 February”.

Doctor Cenciarelli brought the Mayor good news, such as the start of work on the emergency room of the “Dono Svizzero” hospital in Formia and the tender, already called and published, for the design of the new emergency room of the “Santa Maria Goretti” of Latina.

“Planning – stated Mayor Celentano – is a working method to be applied in every health policy choice. I learned from Commissioner Cenciarelli that the work on the second hemodynamics room at Goretti is about to be completed and that work on the hemodynamics room at the Formia hospital will begin shortly.”

Commissioner Cenciarelli reported that the Local Health Authority of Latina is proceeding with the modernization of the equipment in all health facilities in the province of Latina, with new purchases financed with Pnrr and Jubilee funds. Furthermore, the health company is proceeding with the expansion of further beds.

“Dr. Cenciarelli has an excellent knowledge of Pontine healthcare and excellent managerial skills, open to discussion and collaboration and responds to the attention shown by President Rocca to the healthcare of our province”, concluded the mayor underlining that “the strengthening of the posts bed will be useful in resolving the emergency of overcrowding in the emergency room of Goretti and the other hospitals in our province”.
