Inter-Torino, when to play: all the hypotheses

When will Inter-Turin be played? There are two hypotheses at the moment, and everything depends on the Nerazzurri’s Scudetto celebration

One week before the start of the 34th day of A league, the Lega Calcio has not yet announced the schedule. A delay due first of all to the controversy of Roma, whose match against Udinese was scheduled for Thursday 25 April, and also to the doubt linked to the Inter’s Scudetto celebration. The Nerazzurri will face the Turin in the next round, but we need to understand when the match will be played.

The hypothesis

Everything depends on Inter. The Nerazzurri, in fact, have their first Scudetto match point this week, and the chance to win it at the home of their historic rivals Milan. To arithmetically win the Scudetto on Monday, Simone Inzaghi’s team needs a victory against the Rossoneri, who are currently experiencing a very negative period. In the event of a Scudetto already this week, the second star could be celebrated with an open bus and concert at San Siro between Monday night and Tuesday afternoon, and therefore the match against Torino would be scheduled for Sunday 28 April at 8.45pm. In the event that Inter do not win on Monday, however, a favorable result against the Granata would be enough to celebrate the triumph. For reasons of public order, and to possibly allow the Nerazzurri to celebrate the match it could therefore be brought forward to Saturday 27 April at 3pm. Everything is still to be defined, but at the moment these two seem to be the most credible hypotheses for being able to play the match against the future Italian champions.
