Arianna Meloni in Viterbo, sold out at the Terme dei Papi in Viterbo

Sold out in the conference room of the Terme dei Papi in Viterbo for the event entitled “Italy changes Europe”, with Arianna Meloni, head of the national political secretariat of Fratelli d’Italia, sister of Prime Minister Giorgia.
The European elections are rapidly approaching but there are also other local elections, the speakers commented, including the Hon. Mauro Rotelli, the group leader of the party in the Lazio region Daniele Sabatini, the group leader in the city council Laura Allegrini and Luigi Maria Buzzi. Also present were Massimo Giampieri, Antonella Sberna, the Enit councilor Sandro Pappalardo, the mayor of Tarquinia Alessandro Giulivi, Donatella Salvatori, Gianluca Grancini, Mario Lega, Gianmaria Santucci, Alessia Mancini, Luca Giampieri, Luca Profili, Antonio Porri, Matteo Achilli and the candidate for mayor in Civitavecchia Massimiliano Grasso.
The central part of the interventions was on the problems of the territory and its potential to be developed for the well-being of all, but the European elections, now upon us, were also highlighted.

Everyone present was on their feet when Arianna Meloni reminded those present of Valentina Paterna, regional councilor of FdI and coordinator of the FdI club of Tarquinia, who recently passed away after a long illness.
“This territory, underlined Meloni, I am sure will give its best for these European Championships. So let’s roll up our sleeves, because we have the battle of battles ahead of us – because the Italian model must be the one that becomes a milestone in Europe. Just as we are building a productive and authoritative Italy in foreign policy, we want to build a Europe that is self-sufficient; a Europe capable of moving on the international scene as a single entity”.
There was no shortage of criticism of current Europe from the prime minister’s sister: “We already know the Europe of now: it has so far been incapable of providing answers and therefore must be changed. We can no longer afford an ideological European approach. The Europe we imagine is that of peoples and nations, aware that its wealth lies precisely in its peoples and origins. A Europe capable of defending its borders. We want a Europe free from the “green” ideology, which would like us to hand over our hands and feet to China. We seek the right balance between environmental sustainability and development.”
He then added: “We must not put the new generations, our children and grandchildren into debt for absurd purposes. We have demonstrated our defense of the environment by supporting farmers. We want a Europe capable of dealing with artificial intelligence, but at the service of man. With the Mattei plan, Italy has indicated a new path of cooperation and development”.
Arianna Meloni said she was satisfied with the work of the Italian Government: “Now we are in charge of the nation – she stated -. We must be aware of the role we have, demonstrate responsibility and that we are always the same. The Government is doing its best.” She then stated firmly: “I know that this area will do a great job”.
