The Cagliari-Juventus report cards: Vlahovic believes it, Dossena unfortunate

The Cagliari by Claudio Ranieri was brought back to 2-2 by Juventus in the 86th minute after having led 2-0 thanks to two penalties scored by Gaetano and Mina. Among the ranks of the Sardinians Scuffet and Dossena are insufficient, while the best on the pitch is Luvumbo who however drops in the second half. Among the ranks of the Bianconeri Gatti and Szczesny under pass but not only. Vlahovic fights and starts the comeback which then leads to a draw, Alcaraz badly. Here are the Cagliari-Juventus report cards:

Cagliari’s report cards

Simone Scuffet 5.5: He naively takes a goal off his post even if Makoumbou deceives him and Vlahovic surgically puts it in the corner.

Pantelis Hatzidiakos 6: Another good performance from the Greek defender which is repeated after San Siro. Good and always careful in closing

Yerry Mina 6.5: He is gigantic in defense and cold in scoring the penalty to make it 2-0. Good performance after the not positive one played against Inter.

Alberto Dossena 5: Good on high balls and always punctual in defensive closures until the 86th minute when he decides to invent a bomber but in his own goal. Wretched

Nahitan Nandez 6.5: He commits the foul which leads to the free kick which Vlahovic takes. Generous display of quality and quantity from the Uruguayan midfielder (from 79′ Gabriele Zappa sv)

Antoine Makoumbou 6: Half a vote less because it drops in an inexplicable way on Vlahovic’s free kick. However, his performance is absolutely top-notch

Ibrahim Sulemana 6::quantity, running but also flashes of quality at the service of the Cagliari midfield (from 46′ Matteo Prati 6: Ready to go and he tries with a nice right hand with Szczesny who tells him no. Precious graft for the Sardinians for spirit and self-sacrifice

Tommaso Augello 6: Race, experience and heart: the former Sampdoria player shows off another convincing performance.

Eldor Shomorudov 6: He creates several problems for the Juventus defense with his continuous movement. He doesn’t sting but is useful to the cause. (from 79′ Nicholas Viola 5.5: This time with his entry onto the pitch he is unable to give quality to Cagliari)

Zito Luvumbo 7: Impregnable, a loose cannon. He spread panic in the Juventus penalty area and earned the penalty to make it 2-0. Even a scored goal is eaten.

Gianluca Gaetano 6.5: He scores the penalty to make it 1-0 in a glacial manner and makes himself available to the team with a great sacrifice in the retreat phase (from the 69th minute Alessandro Deiola 6: He goes in to collect wood and does it with good results)

Coach Claudio Ranieri 6: His Cagliari play well but if they had gone well at San Siro in the 84th minute, this time they were punished in the 86th minute. With this determination, however, salvation will only be a formality

Juventus report cards

Wojciech Szczesny 5.5: He caused the penalty to make it 2-0 by knocking out Luvumbo who was thrown towards the net. Well done on Prati.

Federico Gatti 5.5: The mobility of Cagliari’s attackers suffers. He loses several duels even on a physical level and this is not like him. He was put in by Luvumbo for the second penalty.

Gleison Bremer 6: He causes the naive penalty foul due to his arm being too wide, even if his back is turned. For the rest it provides sufficient proof made up of closures and advances.

Danilo 6: Where he doesn’t get there physically, he gets there with experience. He too suffers but does not sink

Timothy Weah 5.5: In difficulty when he has to defend, not too effective when he has to attack (from 68′ Weston McKennie 6: He comes in to give substance and quality and does better than those who preceded him)

Carlos Alcaraz 5: A ghost. Mina gives him an elbow that certainly affects his game but he doesn’t seem useful or congenial to the project. (From 46′ Kenan Yldiz 5.5: There’s no questioning his talent but this evening he struggled quite a bit. Half a point more for the cross placed in the middle which generates Dossena’s awkward own goal)

Manuel Locatelli 6: It’s not easy to play in this Juventus team but he does his best to act as a screen in front of the defense and to restart the action as soon as he can. (from 74′ Arkadiusz Milik 5.5: Enters but never sees her)

Adrien Rabiot 6: Over the months his performance has dropped and this can be seen terribly on the pitch. However, he recovers the ball which leads to the 2-2 goal.

Andrea Cambiaso 6: He plays both on the right and left, when needed, and is always one of the last to give up. (from 86′ Iling jr sv)

Federico Chiesa 6: The emblem of his unfortunate season is the assist for Vlahovic in the first half which was thwarted due to a slight offside at the start. When he decides to tear it hurts but lacks consistency throughout the match

Dusan Vlahovic 6.5: He fights like a lion and scores a goal with a masterful free kick. Even this evening, however, it is not enough

Coach Massimiliano Allegri 5.5: His Juventus is no longer able to be a war machine as it did until February. The defeats against Empoli and Inter have definitely left their mark

Referee: Marco Piccinini (Forlì) 6: He directs well and chooses well on the two penalty kicks awarded to Cagliari, the first awarded after the on field rewiev
