We’re finally here and the dates are to be circled in red:
Saturday 4 May3.00 pm; “LA LUCHESINA” 13th Edition, this year with its own identity, but forever L’event dedicated to the family, but also to athletes who want to travel 10 km. People they will be able to walk or run through streets, bastions and terraces, in contact with cultural and landscape excellences, in a perfect synergy between sport and tourism.
Sunday 5 May, 9.00 am; there 9th Edition from the LUCCA HALF MARATHONa competitive race over a distance of 21.097 km, starting on the walls and finishing in Piazza Napoleone (P.zza Grande), where the entire expo of the event will be set up.
I am already numerous runners, taking advantage of the most convenient rates, have signed up for the half marathon and it will still be possible to do so online to the ENDU page: https://www.endu.net/it/events/lucca-half-marathon/ .
Registrations they will close online on May 2nd at midnight. “Last minute” runners will still have the opportunity to register at the EXPO in Piazza Napoleone on Saturday 4 May until 7.00 pm.
ASD Lucca Marathon is a company that has Lucca in its DNA, this is the reason why all the events it has organized have been closely linked to the city. In 2024, the centenary of Giacomo Puccini’s death and the return of the Giro di Italia to Lucca showed us the way forward.
Among the partnerships, the Lucchesi nel Mondo Association and the Puccini Museum, which on the occasion and in remembrance, for the 100 years since his death, offers all members of the Lucchesina a reduced price ticket for the visit to the Giacomo Puccini House Museum
Every year we have new features, in 2024 the Half Marathon route will be new, faster with a wider start and an arrival in Piazza “Grande” while for “La Lucchesina” we have prepared an application that will help participants wander around the city of Lucca always keeping in mind your geolocation on the route. It will also allow participants to take advantage of a discount for the month of May on purchases at the Marathon Sport running gear store in Sant’Anna.

The ASD LUCCA MARATHON knows this well, and in organizing the “Half” and “La Lucchesina”, can count on the precious support of the many volunteers scattered along the routes and at the refreshment points, who have always guaranteed the success of the events.
