Fights and scuffles between Palermo ultras and Parma ultras

Moments of tension outside the Barbera stadium in Palermo where the Palermo and Parma teams are entering the pitch in the Serie B championship round. Around 200 hooded Palermo fans threw bottles at the police between via Croce Rossa and via of the Carabiniere. A car was set on fire. There is a large deployment of police forces who are trying to thwart the fans.
According to an initial reconstruction, the Rosanero ultras attempted to force the blockade of the police to enter the away section.

Tension even inside the stadium. The Palermo fans stole a banner from the Parma ultras stationed in the away section of the Barbera stadium a few minutes before kick-off. The yellow and blue fans saved the other banners and then threw some small chairs towards the south curve. A couple of firecrackers were also thrown.

At first it seemed that Catania ultras had also joined the Emilian troublemakers, but this was denied by reliable sources. No movement of fans from Catania was recorded towards Palermo.
