The Saturday of the first times.
With the play-offs already in the safe and the head for a lighter afternoon, a negative result aside which however will be worked on during the week, it was a Saturday with beautiful statistics, that of Futsal Bitonto.
In fact, in the scoreboard of the match, whether in printed paper or in online newspapers, the first seasonal presence between the posts of the Bitonto native Davide Schettini will be highlighted, accompanied by sensational saves, the debut of the very young Bitonno Nicolas Papappicco, the fifth goal of the season of the Dario Orlino monument, the glacial coldness of Solimini from the spot and the spectacular goal of Robertino Ferdinelli.
So the last round of the Serie A2 group D national championship ends with seven goals for Lamezia.
A result that places the Neroverdi in fifth place in the standings and pairs them with a view to the play-offs in two weeks against the Sicilian Canicattì, with the first leg to be played in Bitonto and the second leg to be played on Sicilian soil.
THE MATCH
Mister Pietro Di Bari chooses to start with the five made up of Schettini Banegas, Solimini, Caggianelli and Ferdinelli.
In the 1st minute Caggianelli tries to volley it from the right with the ball ending just wide.
On the turnaround in front Everton swerves and re-enters the area on the right, Schettini reads the threat in advance and saves everything.
In the 8th minute Gagliardi shoots hard into the area, Schettini is reactive and raises it over the crossbar.
In the 9th minute, a through ball goes to Ferdinelli who shoots first but finds the goalkeeper’s response in the corner.
In the 10th minute only a miraculous intervention by Schettini deflected Savio’s long-range shot onto the post.
In the 13th minute Lamezia took the lead with Everton scoring the penalty awarded by the referees for a handball by Acquafredda and making it 1-0 for Lamezia.
Bitonto feels the pinch and in the 16th minute Everton hurts the neroverdi again by receiving the ball and discharging it into the seven from the edge of the penalty area for the Calabrian two-nil.
In the 17th minute, Bitonto had a sensational opportunity with Caggianelli who took advantage of a sleepy Calabrian defense to kick hard from a few steps away, but luck wasn’t on his side and the ball hit the post.
The goal is in the air and arrives a minute later with Solimini who is cold from the spot and closes the gap for Bitonto: 2-1 at halftime.

In the second half Lamezia got off to a good start and scored a hat-trick in the first minute with Everton aiming a shot from distance to make it 3-1 for their team.
A few seconds later the 4-1 of the Calabrians also arrived with the black-greens too soft to let the orange player advance and let him kick undisturbed from the edge.
Bitonto is unable to raise its head and in the 8th minute Celestini breaks into the area, kicks hard under the crossbar and makes it 5-1 to Lamezia.
In the 9th minute Bitonto tries to get back into the game and does so with a goal from Orlino which he receives from Perrucci and from a few steps away with his right foot he makes it 5-2.
Lamezia, however, does not stand by and watches and in the second half they make it 6-2 with Mantuano who goes alone and kicks hard with his right foot.
In the 10th minute a colorful note for the neroverdi, the very young Bitonno Nicolas Papappicco makes his seasonal debut in A2.
In the 11th minute Bitonto tries to react with Ferdinelli receiving from a corner and unloading a beautiful left-footed shot from distance to make it 6-3 Bitonto.
With five to go, Mr. Di Bari plays the fifth man card but with the first inattention in the 16th minute, Lamezia with an empty net makes it 7-3 with Caffarelli at the sound of the final siren.
For Bitonto it is now important to find men and strength in view of the first leg of the play offs on April 27th at home against Canicattì.
