Shelagh Marie Cummings

Shelagh Marie Cummings, age 86 of Syracuse, NY passed away on April 13, 2024.
Shelagh was born on September 27, 1937 to Paul and Florence French in Syracuse, NY. Shelagh was a graduate of St. Anthony of Padua High School in Syracuse, NY. She also received her Bachelor of Science degree from State University of New York.
She worked for UPS for approximately nine years, and ten years at BOCES in Mexico.
Shelagh is survived by her loving children, Richard (Patricia) Cummings, of Oswego, Paul Cummings, of Syracuse, Mary Roddy of Oswego, and Stephen (Dominique) Cummings of New Mexico; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, and several cousins.
In addition, she is survived by her sister Patricia French.
Shelagh was also preceded in death by her former spouse Richard T. Cummings Sr., and her sister Kathleen A. French.
After retirement, Shelagh spent her time reading books about mysteries and history, doing jigsaw puzzles, and coloring in adult coloring books.
Burial will take place at Manlius Village Cemetery on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 10am.
