GABICCE MARE His numerous visits to a cultivated field and at strange times aroused the suspicion of the Gabicce Mare police who intervened to clarify the situation. In recent days, the military arrested a young 32-year-old non-EU citizen, illegal on the national territory, because he was held responsible for detention for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances.

The investigation
It happened that the carabinieri, in the previous days, had received convergent information about the presence of a young man who, with a suspicious attitude, was going to an agricultural field in the area, even at rather unusual times. In fact, on the morning of April 15th, investigators noticed a subject gingerly crossing the marked agricultural land, stopping at the edge of a road and bending down to hide or remove something from the ground.
At that point, the police decided to intervene, surprising the young man with some jars in his hands in which there were numerous doses of cocaine, ready for sale, for a total of approximately 32 grams.
The subsequent house search allowed the seizure of material for cutting, weighing and packaging the narcotic, as well as the cash sum of 1500 euros, believed to be the proceeds of the illicit drug dealing activity. The young man was then arrested in flagrante delicto and subjected, in the following days, to a validation trial and simultaneous immediate trial at the Court of Pesaro, following which he was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment.
