“Be careful with the management of emotions, fierce opponent”

Tomorrow afternoon at 6.30pm Triestina will be playing against Novara in the penultimate round of the regular season, re-embracing their fans at the Nereo Rocco after so many months. Mister Roberto Bordin presents the challenge like this:

“The team is enjoying the return to Rocco very well, playing in our stadium in front of our fans is something more. Having many people who encourage you, who encourage you to give the best of yourself can only be an advantage for the kids. We must be careful to manage these emotions because they will be many, always remaining balanced but making the most of the stadium factor and above all our support.

Novara is a team that is very well physically and mentally, they are playing very well and will certainly not give up, also having very important ranking reasons. They will play with a knife between their teeth and we will have to be very careful, because such a beautiful pitch will be a great stimulus for them too. We will therefore find a fierce team, but we will try to counter their every action.

Up to this moment the 3-5-2 is the formation that has given us the greatest opportunity to exploit the players we have and their roles, it is important to understand the opponent and look for the relevant spaces, the formation can then change, it depends on how positions are filled. We as a staff can give some indications, then it is the players who look for the best spaces, bringing the formation to a 3-4-3 or playing in some situations even with four attackers. The most important thing is to have the conviction to do things in the best possible way and to move in the right spaces, then the form in the end can also count relatively.

There is still a small hope of grabbing third place, small because whoever is in front has the advantage and on paper has easier commitments than ours even if this doesn’t mean we still have points available and we will try. It’s obvious that we couldn’t finish third, being the best fourth counts, because if we were to move forward as we all hope, the field factor would be important and we would play the eventual return match at home. Therefore, confirming fourth place ahead of the other fourth places would be very important for us.

These are the halberd summoned men.

Goalkeepers: Agostino, Diakite, Matosevic.

Defenders: Anzolin, Ciofani, Crosara, Malomo, Moretti, Pavlev, Petrasso, Rizzo.

Midfielders: Ballarini, Celeghin, Correia, Fofana, Germano, Gündüz, Jonsson, Vallocchia.

Forwards: D’Urso, El Azrak, Lescano, Minesso, Redan, Vertainen.

As for the squad, Struna is currently the only one who is still working separately, while both Ballarini and Jonsson have returned to the group and will be included in the list of players who can be called up.”
