On Sunday 5 May, starting at 09.00, a football quadrangular in memory of Giuseppe Bianco will be held at the Nino Vaccara stadium in Mazara del Vallo. At the Memorial “For Giuseppe”, organized by the Asd Ricciola Club with the collaboration of the lawyer. Ferro, four teams made up of Giuseppe’s friends will participate and together on the pitch they will remember, through this moment of sport, the man he was, passing on the values of sharing, conviviality, sociability, sportsmanship and fairness, qualities that have always belonged to him. A good, honest and hard-working man, loved and esteemed by all, smiling and generous who loved football, the kind made up of good principles and fair rules. All his friends will take to the field together for him, so that his memory can remain alive in everyone.”
These are the teams:
– Blue Team: with Captain Domenico Bianco who will wear Giuseppe’s yellow and blue outfit from the last tournament played together;
– Red Team: who will also play in memory of their friend Antonella Pomilia with Captain Pietro Ferro, a childhood friend;
– White Team with Captain Sergio Asaro, Giuseppe’s great friend;
– Old Soccer team who will play with their official kit.
Williamm Zelante will be the referee of the matches which will last 30 minutes each. The winners of the two semi-finals will meet in the grand final and the losers in the final for third and fourth place.
