Crash on the Caserta motorway stretch. A serious accident was recorded between San Vittore and Caianello, heading south. According to what the Autostrade company reports, there is an estimated queue of around 10 kilometres.
From what we understand, 4 heavy vehicles were involved in the accident. The toll is 4 seriously injured, transported to hospital. The firefighters and the provincial command of Caserta and the Ares personnel at 118 are working on site. The injured have been sorted into hospitals in Campania and Lazio.
Traffic flows into one lane towards Naples. Alternatively, those heading towards Naples can exit at Cassino, follow the signs for the SS630 Ausonia towards Cassino city centre, then follow the signs for the SS6 Casilina, towards Naples along the Cassino-Sora expressway, reach the SS 6 Casilina up to Vairano Scalo to access the motorway at the Caianello toll booth. Autostrade per l’Italia staff and all emergency vehicles are present on site.
