The meetings will take place starting from 5pm at San Gaetano Center in Old Town ( directions to reach it at the link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/a2HwG7nacuwp7Wvd6 )

We will discuss how sustainable development is an indispensable social model to try to deal with the strong environmental degradation resulting from the anthropic impact which is putting the health of the planet and human health and well-being at risk.

From the 2030 Agenda to the European directives and Italian legislation, the environmental issue and the compatibility of development are increasingly at the center of society’s attention: it is appropriate to start recovery plans and undertake reclamation interventions which have now taken on strategic importance , both nationally and internationally.

The remediation of contaminated sites is a complex problem for most industrialized countries and burdensome from a socio-economic, technological, legal and administrative point of view.

It is therefore necessary to prepare strategies oriented towards the removal of contaminants in order to return the contaminated places to their original intended use through the issuing of adequate regulatory instruments and the development of redevelopment plans, through the use of the best eco-sustainable technologies quenching and tempering.

The planning, implementation and monitoring of reclamation interventions involve interdisciplinary aspects of both a technical and scientific, but also – above all – political and economic nature and require participation, sharing and determination between the various active social institutional components.

Two events not to be missed.
